Easy DIY Valentine's Day Wreath!

This was a fun and super easy diy wreath I made in about 15 minutes!
Keep reading to see just how simple and adorable this is.

I started out with the grey yarn wrapped foam wreath from this Easter wreath project

If you are starting by scratch, you'll need a foam wreath wrapped in grey yarn.

I had picked up a few goodies from the Target $1 bins last week and thought they would work nicely for this project. The circle punched paper is left over from a decor project we did for my sister's wedding. I literally have a hundred or so of these to use up. Of course, I will eventually use them! :)

Here is what was left of Easter wreath and the pink and red glitter tulle.

I cleaned up the wreath…

Then started by wrapping the wreath with the tulle and worked my way about 3/4th around.

Now at this point my sweet 2 year old decided his nap of nearly an hour was up! So, I was busy grabbing scissors and supplies from his hands. That left little time to document the rest of the process. Boo...I know. :(

It really isn't hard to figure out though….
I used the glue dots to attach the fabric hearts to the punched circles. Then attached three of the circles to the bottom of the wreath.

I used the pins left in the wreath to pin a strand of gold ribbon across the wreath. The mini clothes pins were perfect for hanging three more circle hearts!

I used a bit of pink tulle to create a loop at the top to hang this beauty up and it was done!

And standing back….

How is that for an easy, cheap, fast yet adorable DIY?
Now it's your turn! Find something to recycle or remake into another project and let me know in the comments how it turns out!
